Grey Area is a Specialty Weed Shop, highly regarded by the pundits, especially Cannabis Cup Judges. The shop has won many High Times Cannabis Cup Awards over the past 15 years! G.A. is run by U.S. 'Stoner-Operators' who have specialized in high-test Weed from selected local producers. There is a choice between special kinds of Dutch hash and one or two kinds of imported hashish. Sometimes they have the coveted Marrocan 'Shoes'. The Proprietors give personal service and customized deals including US Style eighth-ounces (3.5 grams for the rest of us). Expect an arsenal of glass bongs, home style conversations, mass information-sharing and don't forget to ask the Chiefs if you can use the free Volcano Vaporizer!

The Grey Area Coffeeshop is located quite close to the Amsterdam Dam Square, just a three-minute walk to the west. It's located on a narrow walking street just off the Singel canal in a very nice neighborhood at the edge of the Arty Jordaan quarter. In this cozy little shop you can sit in one of the 17 seats split between two counters and three tables. The varied selection of tunes provides an excellent soundtrack for the movie that is always running outside the picture window.
